BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN PENANG!! From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere. Everything is all around perfect! PLEASE ASK FOR MISTER TEJA AS YOUR SERVER. Teja is genuinely the kindest, nicest, most helpful person I’ve met in a long time. Aside from him being such an amazing person, his service is spectacular. Having him serve you is like 10 star service, he goes above and beyond. And because I have so many allergies him and the chef were extremely accommodating to me. The food is also extremely delicious. We’ve come for lunch and dinner and both meals were amazing. Best lamb burria tacos in the world. Also the chips and salsa are to die for. Super fresh and tasty. Come to La Chica for the best Mexican food in Penang!!

Absolutely loved our experience at La Chica Mexicana, Straits Quay! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and refreshing drinks — such a nice surprise! The ambience was vibrant and full of life, perfect for a fun night out. The pizza was amazing, the taco platter was packed with flavour, and the service was top-notch throughout. Everything hit the spot! Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious Mexican food in a lively, feel-good setting.

I ordered Pizza La Chica, Chicken Chimichanga, Tortilla chips, and Steak Fries. Both the foods and services are amazing. The flavours were authentic and appetising. We also celebrated birthday here and the staffs had been very professional. The sliced cake they made was amazingly delicious, even better than many other famous bakeries . The taste of the cake is close to that of snickers chocolate bar and it’s not available in the menu. My table was served by Shikhor and other staffs and they were very attentive, helpful and kind. Will definitely return in the future.

Ordered the Burito, Fish Taco, Oxtail Taco, and the Lamb Jalapenyo Taco. Overall the food is nice, for me it's 7.5/10. The Margaritas are good. The avocado beverages are awesome it's creamy and delicious. Staffs are very nice and friendly, very informative too.

We dine here for a change from local foods. Food is delicious and service is top-notch. Our friendly main server is Mr. Bharat Singh who's always alert to serve.

Love the place and food here. Our 3rd time here, food is always delicious, better this time. Very friendly staff and excellent service. TQ Monir and Joshua for great service and cheers to all staff and chef. Will be back again another time. Nice when they play old music from 80s or earlier. ABBA, Bee Gee.... nice. Past and pizza so yummy.
